He is a results focused leader with over 20 years of experience in information technology and business management in the energy sector.

Mr. Johnston's career achievements demonstrate that he is an experienced and respected leader, change manager and mentor who communicates well at all levels. He has consistently displayed success over many years in bridging business and operations management and the IT group. Over a 20 year period, Peter designed, delivered and evolved from a zero base, all the integrated infrastructure, applications and processes to support a cyclic, competitive, distributed and hazardous 24-7 industrial operation used by 2000 people on 1500 desktops accessing over 200 advanced applications on 100 servers.

During his collegiate career, Peter earned a Certificate in Chemistry, Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Queensland University of Technology. He was published on several occasions earlier in his career, during his three year stint as an Industrial Chemist.
