As Senior Partner of Batten Management Consulting Services, as well as throughout his incredible 34 years in the business, Robert has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.

Batten Management Consulting Services is a privately held enterprise which provides exceptional service in the areas of management consulting, project management and program management. Robert is responsible for managing all major aspects of the business as well as overseeing the daily operations.

Mr. Batten is a Senior Project Manager and seasoned IT executive. He has consistently built and led numerous teams including: cross-functional subject matter experts; offshore; in-house, and third party vendors for both national and international companies. Robert has successfully transitioned teams within IT to become value-added contributors to the organization.

Robert has also been successful in managing and directing multiple complex projects simultaneously, including organizational change; business process change; COTS implementation; custom software development, and Infrastructure moves and upgrades. The projects he has worked on have varied in size with teams as large as 250 people and budgets as large as $45 million.

During his educational career, Robert earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Mathematics, graduating with Honors from the University of London in 1972. He is a member of the Project Management Institute and the Canadian Information Processing Society. Mr. Batten has also served as past President of the Northern Alberta AS/400 User Group.
