Dr. Marijane E. Hancock opens management consulting firm

LINCOLN, NE, August 19, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Marijane E. Hancock, Management Consultant, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in resource management and process improvement.

Dr. Hancock recently resigned the position of Dean of Administration for BryanLGH College of Health Sciences, where she was responsible for budgeting, and overseeing the human resources and information technology departments. She plans to use 35 years of experience in management to consult in the area of resource management and process improvement.

Dr. Hancock received her Ph.D. in Community and Human Resources from the University of Nebraska in 1991, her Master's Degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Nebraska in 1976, and her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Nebraska in 1974. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Bright Lights, the Board of Directors for Court Appointed Special Advocates of Lancaster County, the Academy of Management, and the Association of Institutional Research.
