Danielle A. Lechette, decorated war veteran, builds a successful career in the corporate sector with SAP America

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA, August 02, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Danielle A. Lechette, IT Strategic Buyer for the Global Purchasing Organization of SAP America, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in purchasing.

With 21 years of professional experience, Danielle A. Lechette is a respected expert in capital equipment, field and facility purchase, and IT purchasing functions. She is currently on her second year as a buyer for SAP America. Working primarily in the company's Global Purchasing Organization (GPO), she is in charge of purchasing IT hardware, software and services, managing clients internally and externally, creating and maintaining agreements, working with project teams, and coordinating with other GPO employees. Ms. Lechette brings to her position her experiences as a capital equipment buyer for more than 15 years. She also honed her skills in sundry office operations, including accounting, bookkeeping and computer systems.

Prior to building a career for herself in the corporate sector, Ms. Lechette served in the U.S. Air Force. A veteran of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, she was honored by the USAF with a Commendation Medal, a Joint Service Achievement Medal, an Achievement Medal, and a Good Conduct Medal. She retired from the service as a senior airman in 1992.

Ms. Lechette earned a master of business administration, concentration in supply chain management, in 2009 from Strayer University and a bachelor of science in business administration in 2003 from the University of Phoenix. She is currently the board director of programs for the Purchasing Management Association of Philadelphia. Additional affiliations include the Institute for Supply Management and The American Legion. Most recently, she was inducted as a VIP member by Cambridge Who's Who . Ms. Lechette aspires to attain a managerial position within the next five years.
