MIDDLETOWN, CT, July 28, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Richard M. Schubach, Director of Information Technology for Middlesex Hospital, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in administrative operations.

With 27 years of professional experience, Mr. Schubach specializes in project management. He has gained experience working as the chief operations officer for Sysnet Technology Solutions Inc. and as the director of information technology for ProHealth Physicians. Nine months ago, he attained the position as director of information technology for Middlesex Hospital. In this position, he oversees the maintenance of biomedical engineering patient equipment, manages telecommunications services, supervises and assesses programs on systems, responds to user needs, coordinates application support activities systems, the development activities network and technical services activities, delivers high technical and staff assistance, and promotes marketing plans.

Mr. Schubach received his Master's Degree from Cambridge College in 2007. He is a member of the Society for Information Management Central Connecticut Chapter, the Project Management Institute, Inc. and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society. Through his experience in the information technology field and his mentors' support, he has arrived at where he is today. In the future, he intends to become a chief information officer.
