Larry David Visco celebrates eight years as a manufacturing associate IV of Biogen Idec

CAMBRIDGE, MA, June 28, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Larry David Visco, Manufacturing Associate IV of Biogen Idec, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in information technology systems.

With eight years of experience as a manufacturing associate IV of Biogen Idec, Larry David Visco is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process of drugs, updating standard operating procedures, training individuals within the department, preparing PowerPoint presentations and spreadsheets. He became involved in his profession because of his interest in biotechnology, and he attributes his success to his perseverance, hard work and challenging nature.

Mr. Visco received his Bachelor of Arts from Northeastern University where he majored in Transportation Management and his Associate of Arts in Marketing from Middlesex Community College in 1985. In addition to his formal education, he is a certified emergency medical technician and a certified HVAC technician. He also has a Biotechnology Certificate from Middlesex Community College.
In addition he has extensive knowledge of the purification process and cell cultures, excellent troubleshooting skills and Delta V software skills.
