Cynthia P. Pard Receives Professional Networking Community's Highest Honor
Cynthia P. Pard, IT Manager, Relishes the Challenges of IT Applications Development for Business Operations

NORTH WALES, PA, March 26, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cynthia P. Pard, Information Technology Manager for Teva Pharmaceuticals USA, has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Information Technology. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only two male and two female members in each discipline are named professionals of the year. The Cambridge Who's Who selection committee chooses these special honorees based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements and leadership abilities.

With 27 years of professional experience, Cynthia P. Pard is considered an expert in timekeeping applications, including support for EDI, Vendor Managed Inventory, Automated Returns applications while interfacing applications within an Oracle ERP environment. After years of development work, she assumed the managerial role for IT Applications Development at Teva Pharmaceuticals in 2000. As an IT manager, she is responsible for analyzing business needs for iSeries applications, handling projects such as timekeeping, VMI and automated returns applications, developing team members and their skill sets, supporting projects, assisting warehouse management systems, and has managed EDI applications running on iSeries as well as Linux and Unix servers.

Ms. Pard relishes the challenge of coordinating project time lines and staff for developing solutions for business applications, and considers transitioning an EDI application from an iSeries to a Linux environment to be the proudest accomplishment of her career so far. She attributes her success to her work ethic, determination, and ability to work in a team. Ms. Pard received her Bachelor of Science in Education in 1980 from East Stroudsburg University.
