As the founder and owner of OCC Cubed, Kelly Maroti Yamaguchi is responsible for program management, overseeing operations, project management, designing databases, and conducting information systems training/mentoring. She became involved in her profession after being offered a job working with computers in 1990—the summer before going off to college for her undergraduate degree—and she attributes her success to her experience, self-motivation and love for learning.

Ms. Yamaguchi is pursuing her Ph.D. in Information Assurance Policy at the University of Fairfax, having earned her Master of Science in Information Systems Technology from George Washington University in 2003. In addition to her formal education, she is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional. She is a member of the Information Systems Security Association, IEEE, American Computing Machinery, and ISACA.
