Beverly G. Bertenshaw Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals

Mahwah, NJ, October 28, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Beverly G. Bertenshaw, IT Quality Systems Manager of Stryker Orthopaedics, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in quality systems management.

Beverly G. Bertenshaw joined Stryker Orthopaedics in 2007, bring with her 22 years of experience. As IT Quality Systems Manager, she oversees the information technology quality group, manages compliance and control of enterprise business and quality control systems, validates systems and processes, and develops regulatory-compliant quality systems. Stryker Orthopaedics is a medical technology company that provides state-of-the-art medical and surgical equipment.

Ms. Bertenshaw has held successively responsible positions during her career, including jobs in corporate communications, corporate quality, website design, software design and development, and risk management. Her risk-management experience includes global corporate risk and insurance management. She became involved in her profession during the 1980s, while working at Corning Incorporated; she was completely captivated by the concept of quality as industry-neutral but bottom-line powerful. Concurrent with her professional corporate work, Ms. Bertenshaw has been involved in retail sales at a private niche toy store in Maplewood, NJ, and an arts and crafts chain store in Rockaway, NJ. In addition, she was an independent consultant for Touchstone Crystal. Ms. Bertenshaw published a horror story under her maiden name of Evans, and is currently writing a cooking memoir titled, "Pressure Cooker Phobias and Other Kitchen Adventures." She attributes her success to her passion for quality and unwavering belief in continual improvement.

Ms. Bertenshaw received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Binghamton University in 1983. She is a certified Reiki I practitioner. Looking ahead, Ms. Bertenshaw hopes to experience additional professional growth with Stryker, focus on Code of Federal Regulations 820, and establish an enhanced information technology vendor quality program. She also expects to expand Blue Skies Real Estate Investment Group LLC, which she formed with her husband in 2010.
