OTTAWA, ON, CANADA, October 14, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Alan Young, Co-President of TACTIX Government Relations and Public Affairs Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in government relations and public affairs.
With 25 years of professional experience in law, government and business, Mr. Young has developed an expertise in finance and information technology policies. The start of his career was spent practicing corporate law at a major Bay Street law firm. Afterwards, he served as the Chief of Staff to an Ontario government minister, as well as Chief of Staff to the federal President of the Treasury Board.
Mr. Young currently serves as Co-President of TACTIX Government Relations and Public Affairs Inc. In this capacity, he is responsible for managing client relationships with the Government of Canada and with provincial administrations. He also assists clients in meetings, writes government submissions, and offers strategic and tactical advice.
In 1978, Mr. Young graduated with honors from Wilfrid Laurier University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in history. The following year, he attended Brock University, where he earned a Bachelor of Education. He is also the recipient of a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School York University. He is a member of The Law Society of Upper Canada.
