Orange, CA, January 26, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Patricia Whetsel, Enterprise Data Center Manager of the Assurant Corporate Technology Department, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of information technology.

Demonstrating 14 years of industry know-how, Patricia Whetsel specializes in information technology, security, scheduling, prioritizing production and managing data. In her position with Assurant, a leading insurance provider, she is tasked with providing technical assistance for the operations, production support and control departments to ensure that timely and accurate systems processing of data is completed. In addition she assists with managing and training on system security.

Ms. Whetsel attained her managerial position after completing rigorous in-house training and her previous USMC experience. She attributes her success to her ability to learn quickly, and considers working for a high-profile company to be particularly rewarding. In her spare time she is actively involved with her local church where she teaches classes for upper elementary school children and is the President of her local, Covina, Women of the Church of God group.
