SAN LEANDRO, CA, November 3, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rhonda L. Farrell has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership, and excellence in information technology.

Ms. Farrell's expertise is in engineering test, operations, security, and law, across multiple hardware technologies. She has 25 years of professional experience, including Amdahl Corporation, Cisco Systems, Inc. and the U.S. Marine Corps. As a CSSLP, CISSP, CSQE, and prior CCNA, Ms. Farrell is affiliated with the Silicon Valley Chapter of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA-SV), the Silicon Valley Software Quality Association (SSQA-SV), the American Society for Quality (ASQ), the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium, Inc. (ISC2), SDForum, and the Women Marines Association (WMA). She attributes her success to discipline and focus, as well as a strong team of people empowering/enabling her chosen professional and educational paths.

She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Information Assurance at University of Fairfax with a projected graduation date of 2011. She recently graduated from Concord Law School (2009), where she obtained her JD with emphasis in Technology - Cyberlaw, Product Liability, Intellectual Property, and Patent Law. She earned her MBA in Strategic Management, California State University, Hayward (2000), and her B.A. in Business Administration (concentration Marketing Management, (focus on Math and Computer Science), California State University, Hayward (1999). She also has certificates in Networking Engineering and Internet Security from University of California, Santa Cruz Extension (2002).

Ms. Farrell also volunteers with Citizens for a Safer San Leandro and ProMatch (Sunnyvale, CA).

She looks forward to attaining an assurance, compliance, policy, legal services, or training position which allows her to meld her prior private industry experience, law degree, and current DIA educational goal.
