Bobbie J. Dickerson pioneers the field of information technology

ARLINGTON, VA, June 5, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bobbie J. Dickerson, Senior Training Specialist for Enterprise Information Management, Inc. has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of information technology training.

With almost nine years of professional experience, Ms. Dickerson specializes in information technology and management training solutions. In 2004, she brought her expertise to EIM; a veteran-owned solution-focused company specializing in rapid automation of business processes. Her responsibilities include designing, developing, and conducting technical in-class and online training. In addition, she assists operational areas in developing technical documentation as well as developing training presentations/proposals for existing and prospective clients.

Prior to assuming her current position, Ms. Dickerson worked as a Senior Technology Specialist/Team Lead at Lockheed Martin, where she was in charge of in-house training, preparation for system upgrades, testing new software, and keeping inventory of all software as a contractor working for the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (OASD). In addition she was a Trusted Agent Security Manager (TASM) at OASD where she trained two other alternates to use the technology to reset CAC pins and other configurations. She first honed her skills at Compex Corporation as a Senior Training Analyst. During her three-year stint at that company, she was honored with the following awards: "Employee of the Month", "Team Player of the Year", "Certificate of Commendation" and a numbered limestone fragment from the Pentagon, Army Operations Center along with a Star Note from MG Chiarelli for her efforts after September 11, 2001. Ms. Dickerson attributes her success to the support she receives from her family, especially her parents.

Ms. Dickerson is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Organization and Management with a specialization in Information Technology Management, at Capella University. In 2004, she earned her Master's of Science degree in Distance Education from University of Maryland University College; and earned her Bachelor's of Science degree in Management Statistics and Decision Information Sciences from University of Maryland, College Park in 1998. Ms. Dickerson is a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society and the American Society of Training & Development (ASTD). She has received certificates for Achievement (2006) and for participating in the Combined Federal Campaign fundraising (2008) both from the U. S. Air Force. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, and volunteering at her local church. She looks forward to teaching on a university level and doing more consulting.
