WEST SENECA, NY, January 10, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Motivated by the efforts of deceased Finishing Department Manager, Donna Burger, Biel's holds an annual Theme Basket Fund Drive. The basket themes this year were: "Day Off," "Tool Time," "Everything Chocolate," "Travel in Style," "Our Fine Feathered Friends," "Holiday Spirits," "Hickory Farms," "Warm up for the Holidays," "Lottery" and "Soups On." The Donna Burger Memorial Fund Raiser, as the effort is now referred to, has raised over $3,000 since December 2002 for the Warm the Children Fund.

Tickets are sold to employees and they are placed into raffle boxes for corresponding baskets. The winner is then drawn at the annual company Christmas party. This year Biel's went full circle with this event by becoming volunteer shoppers and taking needy families shopping.
